Plein-air painting is the single most important thing a landscape painter can do.
This workshop is geared to help the painter to build skills in painting outdoors.
The workshop will include demonstations by Mr. Olson in outdoor painting
techniques, design concepts, materials and preparation. These demonstations
will offer the student an in-depth look at the artist's thought process and
technical applications that are needed to become proficient in plein-air painting.
Each student must have their own outdoor painting easle and oil paints and brushes.
A materials list will be provided.
